How Indigenous leadership is transforming pharmacy practice

Join Professor Faye McMillan AM FPS, Dr Leanne Te Karu, Assistant Professor Jaris Swidrovich and Bronwyn Clark in an engaging round table interview.

  • Faye is a Wiradjuri yinaa (woman), a community pharmacist and is recognised as the first Indigenous Australian to hold a western degree in pharmacy in Australia.
  • Leanne was born near her ancestral mountain of Ruapehu where she affiliates to her Ngāti Rangi, Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi side, in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
  • Jaris is a Two Spirit Saulteaux First Nations and Ukrainian man and pharmacist from Yellow Quill First Nation, Canada.

Through sharing their experiences in Aotearoa/NZ, Australia and Canada they discuss how Indigenous leadership can be enabled in pharmacy practice.
