In this presentation Dr Erica Sainsbury discusses the key findings of the literature review, Approaches to implementation of cultural safety in the training and education of health professionals in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America.

This includes:

  • local and international Indigenous health frameworks
  • pedagogical and philosophical principles.

This review examined health professional education programs and curricula in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA, with the aim to identify approaches to embedding cultural safety into pharmacy education in Australia.
